Over 700,000 lights span 2 1/2 blocks starting at Douglas and St. Paul. This community sponsored event runs Dec. 2 - Dec. 27. Sunday - Thursday 6 to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 6 to 10 p.m., on Christmas Eve 6 p.m. - midnight. Santa is present Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Residents in the 100 block of North Pershing run strings of lights from the tops of trees on one side of the street to the bases of trees on the other. This is the seventh year for this dramatic display.

This house is west of Wichita, 1 mile west of Goddard. To reach it, take highway 54 and turn right on 215th. Go 2 miles north. The house is easy to spot because the house and yard are full of lights and easy to spot from a few miles away.

The whole block just north of Kellogg in the cul-de-sac is decorated with everything you can think of: moving trains, music, lights, lights, lights, spinning spheres in the trees, luminaries and Santa on a John Deere three wheeler.
